Al Batuni made EDOTCO country managing director

EDOTCO Bangladesh has appointed Al Batuni Mohammad Sayed Ahmed as its new country managing director.

He succeeds Sunil Issac, under whose leadership EDOTCO Bangladesh expanded its market presence and strengthened its nationwide infrastructure footprint, the company said in a statement.

With the appointment, the telecom infrastructure company aims to strengthen local leadership and accelerate digital infrastructure growth in Bangladesh.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications and digital services, with expertise in network transformation, digital modernisation and strategic business growth.

Before assuming the new role, he served as director of strategy and transformation at EDOTCO Bangladesh, where he played a key role in driving operational excellence and long-term growth initiatives.

Prior to joining EDOTCO Bangladesh, Al Batuni spent nearly 17 years at Ericsson in senior leadership roles, focusing on network transformation and digital modernisation.
