IFIC Bank clients to get discounts at Best Western Plus Bay Hills

IFIC Bank PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Best Western Plus Bay Hills, part of an international hotel chain, to provide discounts to the bank’s customers.

Helal Ahmed, chief of branch business and head of operations at the bank, and Shahadat Hossain Bahar, chief executive officer of the hotel, signed the MoU at a programme held at IFIC Tower in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

Under the MoU, IFIC Bank customers will be entitled to a 60 percent discount on room rates and a 10 percent discount on à la carte menu items and banquet hall services at Best Western Plus Bay Hills in Cox’s Bazar.

Md Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director and chief credit officer of IFIC Bank PLC, attended the signing ceremony.

Film actor Omar Sani, adviser to the organisation; Md Abu Seheri Forhad, head of sales and marketing; Khandaker Anwar Ehtesham, head of branding, communications and corporate affairs at the bank; and Md Zakir Hossain, head of cards and digital banking, along with other senior officials from both organisations, were also present.
