Premier Bank holds sub-branch business performance review meeting

Premier Bank PLC yesterday held its “Sub-Branch Business Performance Review Meeting 2026” at its head office in Dhaka to review the business performance of its sub-branches and outline future strategic priorities under the leadership of its newly constituted board of directors.

Some 67 sub-branch in-charges from different regions across the country took part in the meeting, according to a press release.

Arifur Rahman, chairman of the bank, inaugurated the meeting as the chief guest.

Md Monzur Mofiz, managing director of the bank; Niamat Uddin Ahmed, SM Wali Ul Morshed, Amalendu Roy and Mohammad Al-Amin, deputy managing directors, attended the event.

During the meeting, the participants presented their strategic business plans and future initiatives aimed at strengthening the performance and ensuring the sustainable growth of the bank’s sub-branch network.

Mohammad Shamim Murshed, senior executive vice-president and head of the retail banking division; Mohammad Ahsan Ul Alam, senior executive vice-president and head of the agent banking, cards and alternative delivery channel division; and Asif Khan, head of the SME and agriculture banking division, along with heads of various divisions and other senior officials of the bank, were also present at the programme.
