Sonali Bank opens Dasar branch in Madaripur

Sonali Bank PLC recently opened its new Dasar branch in Madaripur.

This is the bank’s 1,235th branch, according to a press release.

Md Shawkat Ali Khan, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, and Khandaker Mashukur Rahman, administrator of the district council in Madaripur, jointly inaugurated the branch.

Earlier, the bank organised a function to mark the inauguration of the branch at the Dasar Upazila Parishad conference room.

Md Tangimul Islam, general manager (in-charge) of the bank’s General Manager’s Office in Faridpur, presided over the inauguration ceremony.

Md Abu Sayed, deputy managing director of the bank, attended the function as a special guest.

Among others, bank officials and representatives of different communities were also present at the event.
