Kid drowns in pond

A four-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Uttar Gotamari village in Hatibandha upazila of the district yesterday.

The dead is Hasan Mahmud, son of Khalilur Rahman of the village.

Locals said Mahmud fell into the pond near their house while he was playing on its bank.
