Titled “Ki Ragini Bajale”, the book was formally unveiled on Thursday evening at the Chhayanaut Cultural Centre in Dhanmondi. The event featured musical performances, readings and discussions that revisited her enduring cultural influence.

Previously, they have collaborated in “Sincerely Yours, Dhaka”, and “Café Desire”. “Honestly speaking, Giasuddin Selim, Sumon Anwar and Robi are my most favourite directors I have worked with in my career. Each director has a different approach, and that’s what keeps things interesting. This story of ‘Suraiya’ is quite layered, but for now, I can’t reveal much about it just yet.”

The exhibition “Dharon”, currently underway at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, reexamines folk art in Bangladesh, positioning it as a dynamic and evolving part of contemporary visual practice.

Organisers informed that the concert will feature a lively mix of musical performances, entertainment, and cultural showcases, creating a festive atmosphere for the community.
