Mejbaur Rahman Sumon’s directorial debut “Hawa” has hit the theatres in 24 halls across the country today. Star Cineplex, in Bashundhara City, was filled with people, eagerly waiting to watch the film, since 10 am.

The much-anticipated film, “Hawa” hit theatres today, being shown in 24 cinema halls across the country. The tickets for the first show have already been sold out, with advance tickets for the next seven days also being sold out according to the reports.

Among the three films released this Eid ul-Azha, “Poran” released in only 11 theatres across the country. Compared to the other two movies, “Din- The Day” and “Psycho”, this was the lowest number of available halls on release.

The actress told The Daily Star, "Chanchal Chowdhury is one of my favourite actors. I wanted to watch ‘Hawa’ on the day of its release, however, all of the tickets are sold out.”

On Thursday, Jason Momoa revealed on an Instagram post that Ben Affleck would be returning to the role of Batman in the upcoming film, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”. The actor made this announcement after a tour group spotted Momoa and Affleck together on set.
