'Hera Pheri 3' will retain original star cast

"Hera Pheri 3" will retain the star cast that made the comedy series a super-hit – Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty.

The producer of the film, Firoz Nadiadwala, confirmed the news to Indian media. "You'll get to see it very soon with the same star cast - Akshay ji, Paresh bhai and Suniel ji. The story is in place, and we are working on certain modalities. It'll be made in the same way, retaining the innocence of the characters," quoted Bollywood Hungama.

As of now, the director of the project has not been announced.

While the first film "Hera Pheri" was helmed by Priyadarshan, the second was written and directed by Neeraj Vohra.

"Hera Pheri 3" now has Bollywood buzzing with anticipation, and pundits are saying that it has the potential to make a weekend opening of Rs 60 crore.
