Star Digital Report

Captain America star Chris Evans has revealed his iPhone 6s died, in a tweet post to look back at the journey with the device together.

"RIP iPhone 6s," the actor tweeted on Thursday, reports Mashable.

"We had a good run. I'll miss your home button. I won't miss the nightly battle of trying to get you to charge. Or your grainy pictures. Or your sudden drops from 100% battery, to 15%, to completely dead all within minutes. It was a wild ride. Rest easy, pal," he said in the tweet post.

The iPhone 6s, released on September 25, 2015, was part of Apple's 9th generation of phones and has been discontinued when the 12th generation of iPhones were released in 2018.

Currently Apple's iPhone is in the 15th generation.

The news that Evans had not upgraded his phone for quite some time is not surprising, according to the Mashable report.

Despite being an internationally famous actor who certainly affords to buy a new phone, Evans has never been very enthusiastic to keep up with the latest tech.

"Dear All Technology, Remember the 90's when you just WORKED??? "I don't need a 'smart' feature on my TV, thermostat, lights, music, refrigerator, security cameras, and f-ing car. You're a major pain in all of our asses. You're not worth it," Evans tweeted in 2019.
