Shai Hope rested for Bangladesh Tests
White-ball captain Shai Hope has been rested following an extended run across all three formats as West Indies named a 15-member squad for the two-Test series against Bangladesh.
Kevin Wickham has earned his maiden Test call-up for the series.
The series will begin in Mirpur on October 28, with the second Test scheduled to start in Sylhet on November 5.
Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph has been withdrawn from the squad following a routine medical assessment and specialist consultation. All-rounder Keemo Paul has been called up as his replacement.
Opener John Campbell has returned to fitness after recovering from the hamstring injury that ruled him out of the Pakistan series in the Caribbean.
The rest of the squad remains unchanged from the group that beat Sri Lanka and drew with Pakistan during the summer.
Roston Chase will lead the side, with Jomel Warrican serving as vice-captain. The squad includes experienced pacers Kemar Roach and Shamar Joseph, along with Jayden Seales, while Warrican and Joshua Bishop provide specialist spin options.
