NRBC Bank completes three-week foundation training for MTOs

NRBC Bank recently completed a three-week foundation training programme for its newly recruited Management Trainee Officers (MTOs).

The closing and certificate awarding ceremony of the programme was held on May 21 in Dhaka, reads a press statement. Chairman of NRBC Bank, Md Ali Hossain Prodhania, attended the event as the chief guest.

Among others, Managing Director & CEO Md Touhidul Alam Khan, and Head of Human Resources Training & Development Center (HRTDC) Fahmida Chowdhury were present.

Speaking at the event, the bank's Chairman Prodhania said, ‘There is no alternative to building a skilled, responsible, and technology-driven workforce to ensure sustainable success in the banking sector. Alongside professional knowledge, new officers must uphold integrity, customer-centric values, and leadership qualities. NRBC Bank continues to undertake various initiatives to develop competent bankers and future leaders.’

Md Touhidul Alam Khan, managing director & CEO of NRBC, said, ‘Skilled human resources are the key strength of any organization. Professionals who are proficient in technology, particularly in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), will lead the future banking industry. We are implementing multidimensional training initiatives to enhance the competency of our bankers.’

The three-week training programme, organised by the Human Resources Training & Development Center (HRTDC), covered modern banking operations, customer service, risk management, compliance, and corporate culture. Certificates were distributed among the participants at the closing ceremony.
