Faisal Rahman appointed as CEO of Prime Bank
Prime Bank PLC has appointed Faisal Rahman as its chief executive officer (CEO).
A seasoned banking professional with over 30 years of experience, Rahman brings extensive expertise in corporate and institutional banking, corporate finance, structured finance, sustainable finance, and strategic leadership, according to a press release from the bank.
Prior to this appointment, he served as additional managing director and chief business officer of wholesale banking at Prime Bank PLC. He has led the bank’s corporate banking transformation programme and strengthened relationships with key corporate clients.
He has successfully led several landmark financing initiatives across sectors, including energy and power, infrastructure, aviation, and sustainable finance, the press release adds.
Throughout his career, Rahman has held senior leadership positions at Prime Bank PLC, Eastern Bank PLC, Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh and Crédit Agricole Indosuez.
Rahman holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and economics and a master’s in business administration. He has participated in numerous executive and leadership development programmes at home and abroad. He is also an Omega-certified Credit Professional.
