Sonali Bank holds 19th AGM

Sonali Bank PLC held its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at its head office in Dhaka yesterday.

Muhammed Mahbubur Rahman, chairman (current charge) of the bank, presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

Nazma Mobarek, secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, attended the meeting as a representative of the Ministry of Finance.

At the meeting, the financial statements, including the balance sheet and profit and loss account for the year 2025, along with the directors’ report and auditors’ report, were placed before shareholders and directors and approved.

They also approved the appointment of auditors for the year 2025.

The bank’s shareholders and directors, managing director and chief executive officer, and company secretary were also present at the meeting.
