Hridi Huq's directorial film, "1971 Shei Shob Din", based on the story written by her father, Dr Enamul Haque, was released on August 18. It has been running successfully for four weeks now. 

Bollywood's Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Jawan" made its debut in Bangladesh on September 7, coinciding with its global release date. This marked a significant milestone as it was the first time since Bangladesh's independence that a Hindi-language movie premiered in the country simultaneously with its worldwide release.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Jawan" is set to finally release in Bangladesh. The film has received clearance from the Censor Board today at 12 pm and will premiere in theatres tonight. This marks the first time a Hindi movie will be making its global debut in Bangladesh.
