To pay homage to the legendary lyricist and composer, cultural organisation Banhishikha organised “Sachin Dev Burman Sangeet Utsav, a two-day musical festival, at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital.

Director Kaushik Ganguly has unveiled the trailer for his upcoming film "Palaan", a tribute on the legendary filmmaker Mrinal Sen's birth centenary.  "Palaan" not only pays homage to Mrinal Sen but also serves as Ganguly's interpretation of Sen's iconic film "Kharij".
